This review might be controversial but at this point... it's getting tired. First and foremost I'll start with saying... what's with grown men crying about something that has nothing to do with them? You can bring up religion by saying hey 2 dudes shouldn't be involved romantically that's respectable, youre entitled to that view. You know what else is against religion? Violence... and here we are, talking about a game that displays violence and you have front row tickets. However again it has nothing to do with you as it is....optional..... you can still choose to be straight in this.......... game...............

No need to make a scene. It's literally OPTIONAL. You can choose to avoid it Nobody is pushing you to pick your character to want a dong. My god where is the maturity??? It's a game where you have the option to be with women or men....moving on. You do know not every game has to be about you??? Every audience has their own taste. You don't like something? Move the fuck on??? It's literally as simple as that. You avoid wasting your time and breath over something that you can't change and the planet continues to spin on its axes. We all win.

I had no interest in this game I never played the first one and this I'm merely playing it with my friend on his console. The game is good it just isn't for me per say. This game comes with a lot of narrative. I did watch gameplay of the first one and I can easily point out this is quite the upgrade, especially Story wise. The story is massive and dare I say time consuming, however the quality is top tier. There is a lot to do. The world is huge, and rich full of different characters. Side quests feel equally as important as a regular mission, like for example you have to find your missing dog. That does feel important even tho it is merely a side quest. This game is very thought out. You can be attached to the main 2 lads, as you see them interact and grow during the game, it makes you feel as if you're there with them in the game. It feels real.

The gameplay is very much like the first one just a bit revamped. Since you are starting from the beginning this game is smart enough to make you struggle as of you're free building yourself from scratch. The attention to detail is impressive as Henry will feel stiff with a sword but improve his sword fighting once you upgrade his skills. Again it just feels real. The combat itself is also very polished. Another attention to detail are the civilians themselves. They can treat you differently just by looking at the state of condition you present yourself such as if you're dirty they'll treat you like youre homeless. If you're bloody they will be afraid of you. If you get punished they will doubt you and not trust you. The guards also like to play around with you which makes you feel insecure and monitored. There is more to say with little space to say it. Incredible game for rpg lovers unfortunately again not something ill ever see myself revisiting. My friend ate it up tho.

Wow, what a fucking good game and what a fucking start of the year.

I hated the first game so much and couldn't bear it, but KCD2 changed everything. Everything that was shit in KCD1 was made 100% better.

KCD2 offers a damn good story and characters and a hell of a soundtrack. The soundtrack in this game is something else!

And the direction of this game is so damn good, with even better graphics. And man, it looks stunning.

KCD2 is not a perfect game, but it's a great game that I have issues with.

The combat is fun, sure, but it becomes boring after a short while. The combat gets easier, especially since the game relies on parrying, but I don't get why parrying is so easy. Also, the enemies you face become weaker. I understand why they made it easier—because people kept complaining about the combat being too difficult—but they could've at least let you change the difficulty.

The game is also full of bugs and glitches.

The AI in this game is so stupid.

And why the fuck is there no fucking auto-save? Like, this is a 2025 game! I don't understand the idea of not putting in an auto-save!

But on the other hand, there's a lot—I mean, a lot—of pros in this game:

Good story

Fun characters

Beautiful dialogues, and there are some that even made me cry from laughing. The dialogues in this game are so well-written.

The music—my god, the music is something else in this game.

The world, the side quests

The RPG system. The RPG system in this game is so well-designed and realistic. You wanna be a warrior, a thief, a blacksmith, etc.? You have to learn how to be one by reading books, practicing, and actually doing the thing. You can't just go to the skills menu and be whatever you like, and it's a fucking genius idea.

In the end, KCD2 is one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I enjoyed it so much, and if you like heavy realism and slow-paced games, you should definitely give it a try.

I'm definitely going to be adding more to this as I'm not finished playing the game yet. Warhorse, you geniuses. I'm not even fifty percent into the story, I'm stunned.

I haven't seen a game on this level since The Witcher 3, plus it has details on the level of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the atmospheres of Oblivion and Skyrim.

Not for spoilers... this game is essentially two sequels in one. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I reached the second region.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II exposes a lot of the industry with this level and care for detail. As mentioned, I'm still on my playthrough.

I strongly recommend. I'll get back to this review, but there are a lot of games to play this year. As for the drama about the game, I don't care.

Insane step up from the last game, a lot more places and quests, amazing combat and the world is beautiful. But the story and characters are my favorite part
