Ahhhhhhhhh.....where to start with this one......

It's generic as shit. I know people are comparing this to Cyberpunk....we all know the infamous cyberpunk lore at this point but let me reassure you...this isnt on the level of shit as cyberpunk's debut...


It's worse than shit it is diarrhea. 🙋🏻‍♂️ Based on the idea and presentation i think the game could have had potential....till you witness the horrendous voice acting + generic shooting mechanics + character storylines i didnt give a fuck about + horrible bugs it ends up being a halfbaked rushed project that the devs probably had a deadline to meet.🌝 The storyline? Basic as fuck. We have seen this however many times in media, when it comes to films, tv shows, cartoons, anime. We have seen it. Plot is meh but then again they explained the whole plot if you have seen the trailer. The pace is horrendous, they dont lay out events so we can have room to breathe. Everything just happens back to back to back to back. Just shows how rushed it is.

If i have to describe the gameplay aspect....cause yall love to see me tortured.... Id say GTA and Cyberpunk and Watchdogs had a threesome and had a baby, but like whoever carried the baby kept drinking and smoking and the baby came out looking like the hillbillies from Wrong Turn (2003....) It's just....ugly irratiting and no backbone to make an identity for itself. Gunplay? Dreadful. Even third person shooters that were released on Atari have better mechanics than this. Mission design? Bland. Gameplay loop? Worse. They city design? Unnecessary because there is barely any shit to do. It is a game with a campaign with back to back missions without a pause button. Lets not mention the bugs, the frame drops, the crashes that genuinely make you wanna ask your mama if you can crawl back to the womb and vanish from existing.

I'm not American and Im not gonna impersonate Omniman and say i flew there. Cause i didnt. Ive only seen how vegas looks like in films. But god damn is Vegas Bleak looking in this game😭 Vegas here looks exactly like how Vegas would look if Elon Musk did get married to Trump and decided world domination. 😭😭😭 The only good visual that they put effort on was...the character designs because they look like the actors. So they nibbled that one thing....till you hear them talk.😭 Voice acting made me rip off My grandfather's hearing aid from his ear to listen better if i was really tripping....and i wasnt. Diaolgue? Feels like the time i walked on my dad have sex with the neighbour. A nightmare to experience.😖 Me and my friend went immediately to refund it cause tf you mean it costs £45????

Okay i wanna be a bit hateful and rant and idc who disagrees with me at this point but it must be said. Im tired of Action RPGs invading the gaming industry nowadays everything has to be RPG or Soulslike....why? Why are we just entertaining just a specific fandom? I miss the times where we just had a normal 3rd person action game like Saints row. It feels like such a great gaming genre is being left in the drafts just for RPGs to invade. And im getting tireddddd. And the one chance we get for something different....we get this.... We need it back and no i wasnt depending on this game to bring it back. I just miss those games you know? They created hype with the trailers as the trailers look polished then when you jump on...you get JUMPED ON by bugs. Which totally destroyed any hype people felt.

I've been shitting on it but the visuals are alright, character designs are good, and even though the gameplay and story is generic if you have literally experienced any piece of media it does try to captivate your attention by trying twists but then again it gets overshadowed by everything else. Just go watch Demolition Man (1993) Yall seen that movie? With stallone and Wesley Snipes and THEEEE QUEEN of hollywood Miss Sandra THEEE Bullock. Amazing film can talk about it all day but unfortunately im here talking about Mindseye🤷🏻‍♂️

Alright back to shitting on this game. Let me see my script of what to talk about........📝👀

Ah yes lets talk about the characters shall we? The characters have the most basic personalities. BRICK! If i have to describe characters in a short summary;

Social anxiety himbo
Autistic neurodivergent bipolar hacker girl
Mystery man that thinks he is Jellal from Fairy Tail
Alzheimers patient

And you can tell as soon as they speak that they have these basic ass tropes that feel insulting. Clearly the writers didnt know how people behave during scenarios which makes me wonder have they ever interacted with any other people? 🤷🏻‍♂️Guess we'll never know. Girls this is for yall i feel like yall can understand this.

Yall know when a man approaches you and instead of complimenting you it comes off as harrasment because their only sources of interacting with women are through corn and cam girls? Yea thats how it is for this, people dont know how to behave because they have no clue because no one behaves like the characters do irl. Because people actually try to interact with other people. There are just times and places where you can shift through moods during dialogue and they failed to balance it.

Time doesnt seem to exist in this game. Time just comes and goes. You go from a scenario to a different future scenario back to back without letting you adjust to the timeline. You start somewhere and go somewhere without explaination of how you got there. The pacing is so bad that you cant even concentrate on the characters because i hardly know what day and time it is so how am i supposed to get to know these characters?

5Gs! Good God Girl Get a Grip.

If they had just paid attention to the pacing and elaborated on space development the game might have turned out decent at least.

The combat in this game? Criminal. CREATURE! Most weapons feel like a laser gun, and there are only a couple of weapons that make it feel like there was any recoil included in the game. BRICK! Stealth? Non existent. No blindfire, no melee, unlimited ammo. BORING! This game genuinely likes to make you suffer cause tf you mean cut scenes are unskipable if you fail a mission??? And some CUTSCENES ARE LONG AS FUCKKK. Sorry im losing my sanity here.

At the end of the day there was too much ambition with the devs thinking this game had replayability. I dont know who was serving them dumb bitch juice on a sippy cup during programming. DELUSIONAL! I doubt a complete rework would even make this game playable. Yall let the game die already. And for the next game take at least 2 years extra. Cause this wasnt it.😭

Some kind of non-optimized shit. Belch gta and cyberpunk, I shouldn't have bought it. I don't recommend spending even 5 minutes on it.

Mindseye Review (Spoiler Warning)

I just finished the game, and honestly, I wasn’t ready to write this review; because it’s going to be a rough one. Mindseye feels like it needed more time in development. The story is short, rushed, and clearly has missing pieces. It builds up like there’s more to come, but never delivers. Even in the final mission, Rigby tells Jacob that he’s the “Employee of the Month”, which makes no sense since Jacob has only been working there for three days. That single line sums up a lot of what’s wrong; characters act like they’ve known each other for years, but the game’s timeline doesn’t support that at all.

There are also weird continuity issues. Cutscenes randomly shift from midnight to broad daylight, and it doesn’t feel intentional; just sloppy. The open world looks fine visually, but it feels dead and disconnected. There’s no life in it, and exploration has no real reward or interaction.

Gameplay-wise, it’s very basic. The driving is decent, I’ll give it that; but everything else feels like an alpha version of a tech demo. The performance was so bad at launch that I ended up making my own optimization mod (Mindseye Optimistic Optimization) just to reduce the stutters and make the game playable. Without those tweaks, it was borderline unplayable on my system, even though my GPU should run it easly. On top of that, the default visual settings are harsh on the eyes. Depth of field and distortion effects are overdone to the point where anything more than five meters away just looks blurry and strained.

Now for the spoiler; the ending. What even was that? Jacob being part human, part alien? It felt like a twist thrown in for shock value, but without any proper build-up. A lot of what was shown in the trailers didn’t even make it into the final game, and that probably explains why the story feels broken and incomplete.

The game was advertised as a story-driven experience, and that’s what I expected. But for some reason, they decided to also add a completely separate Freeroam mode; and I don’t know what they were thinking with that. It adds nothing of value, probably just to satisfy the people who wanted a "GTA Killer" game which they failed at that too. It’s empty, with no structure or real point. Just a big space with nothing meaningful to do.

What’s also frustrating is that you can’t even skip cutscenes, which makes replaying or reloading sequences a chore. The developers focused on strange details, like making sure your car gets dusty in the desert, but completely missed the bigger picture; like pacing, emotional build-up, and player connection. The game tries to make you feel for Jacob and his journey, but that’s hard to do when his entire bond with the other characters is built over three in-game days.

And about the Freeroam mode… honestly, I still can’t find the right words for it. It’s just there; pointless, empty, and not even fun.
