Blue Prince

Honestly greatly disappointed. How painful is it to progress. How unclear is the message. How anticlimax was the ending. How frustrating is it to just get the runs you want. I was told the ending would make much more sense, it doesn't. I started reading articles online to try to understand, and from what I understand, the message is great and I just agree with it. BUT WHERE, HOW CLEAR IS THE MESSAGE? AM I STUPID? I have rarely been so frustrated and disappointed. I have been hyped so much, after enjoying Lorelei, Golden Idol games, Obra Dinn. But Holy cow is this one just... Unefficient ? I'm so sad honestly.

Blue Prince is a fantastic, roguelike style game. You inherit a mansion from your estranged and wealthy uncle, a mansion that comes with a set of rules. You cannot stay in the mansion overnight, and you need to redraft the mansion from scratch each day.

Each room contains mysteries, cryptic clues and puzzles to solve, that allow you to gain resources to continue exploring deeper into the mansion. And as you explore, you discover secrets and mysteries that point you toward the mysterious 46th room, a room that does not seem to appear on your plans...

This game was incredibly good. A cozy escape room, a chill mystery, the look and feel, the vibes here, are wonderful. The world is lush with information, some of which you will discover through exploration, others through trial and error. The puzzles are incredible- deep, thoughtful, and always projected, but never explicitly stated. As you progress, you will gain information, items and carryover progress that sets you on a better foot to explore, but these bonuses are earned. This is probably my game of the year so far - a really wonderful and unique experience.

Holy...freaking...crap. This game is amazing. Like, actually amazing. I love it. Its freaking just- oh my gosh. Blue Prince, is a rouge like puzzle game that has a story that blows you away, which, you wouldn't fully expect at first. I loved everything about this, to the point I'm shocked the game is actually rated this low. If you can play this game, PLAY THIS GAME, drop everything else, and play this game, atleast try it, because this game is worth a try.

Wow, what an incredible puzzle game. I beat the main objective plus some side content, but there is a lot more to discover. I'll definitely be back to unlock more secrets of the manor! ✌️❤️

This game is super duper overrated

Blue Prince takes a spin on the Rogue-lite genre by introducing it as an Adventure/Puzzle game.

This was one of the few games that I went in blindly not knowing what to expect but just to play and find out for myself.

Progression can be felt with each passing day and it is the reason why it makes me want to keep playing.

Personally my fave indie game for 2025 so far.
